The Moduflex series is an air piloted stacking valve. Functions are 4/2, 3/2, and dual 3/2. S series, T series, and V series wiring configurations. V series collective wiring- 20 and 25 pin Dsub, Devicenet, Profibus DP, CANopen, Interbus-S, and ASi.
The Moduflex series valve is an internal/external air piloted stacking style valve. The Moduflex valves are stacking style only. Available valve functions are:There are three mounting configurations available - S series (Stand alone), T series (Manifold w/ individual cable per solenoid), and V series (Manifold w/ backplane circuit board for collective wiring). The V series has head module options - 20 and 25 pin Dsub connections, and fieldbus options Devicenet, Profibus DP, CANopen, Interbus-S, and ASi. The Moduflex valve manifold can be field converted from internal to external pilot supply by removing the cover on the left hand end plate and rotating the "X" channel selector 180 degrees so the 4mm tube connection can be used for external pilot supply pressure. The cover can then be reinstalled. Internal pilot operation means that supply pressure on the #1 port is directed to the end of the valve where the solenoid operator, when actuated, allows the supply pressure to pass which is then applied to the piston to shift the spool. External pilot is when the valve gets its "internal" pressure from an "external pilot port" instead of the #1 port. Moduflex fieldbus head modules can also be used with Isys Iso and Isys Micro valve manifolds.
